Just today I have been preparing an advertisment to go in our Sunday Times here in Perth Western Australia to announce two workshops to introduce LSVT to speech Pathologists (and other health professionals) and to the public, especially those with Parkinson's. Dr Lorraine Ramig (who "developed" the LSVT) and Annette Pawlas are coming from Denver Colorado to Australia to present at three locations- Sydney, Melbourne and Perth. I am hoping for a good turn out - and am very excited that indeed this is going to be something of real value for PWP and of course for those of us who share in the communication break downs due to speech problems of Parkinson's. For those in this part of the world, the workshops will be held on September 25th & 26th at Hollywood Private Hospital in Perth. We especially need lots of PWP and their families to attend.
