Dear Martin, I also take Amantadine, the same dosage that you were Px'ed. I don't know a whole lot about it, but I do know some. I know that it is primarily an anti-viral drug that in a roundabout way was found to have some anti-cholinergic properties. I am not sure how they came up with its anti-parkinson's applications, but it has helped me, and the day that I miss one dose, I can feel the effects almost immediately. Hope this was of some help?
