On Sept. 10, Shelly Studley asked about Botox injection.

The RxList (at http://www.rxlist.com ) lists a drug with the brand name
Butox. Its generic name is botulinium toxin. It is classed as a Toxoid.

The daughter of a friend suffers from Blepharoptosis, a very mean affliction
that causes the eyelids to droop to the extent that the patient cannot see.
She gets some relief from periodic injections of botulinium toxin.

I think, from what I know about botulism and from hearing about her problem
that it requires some special skill to administer it safely.

Hope it helps your dad.
