ALOHA; Back again for the 4th or 5th time to say hello , plus some suggestions. Have PD for approx. 8 yrs, age 61== refused so far, to take anything except Eldepryl since the very beginning. Seems to have slowed it down as per (4) neurologists.(who needs all the side effects mentioned in this group.) results so far; 1)depression very mild, kept down by 5 grandchildren who enjoy being shook by the occasional shaking left arm. SOME symptoms and tips: RLS restless leg synd.(a real downer, keep you up all night, remedy: walk around till you drop of exhaustion. speaking of walking thank goodness our dog forces me to go out, around the block at least 3 times daily. I take 1000 mg vitamin E daily...for .dry mouth...use Hall's cough suckers......eldepryl will keep you awake if taken after 12 noon. crying comes real easy at sad parts, or good parts , or while sleeping tear duct gates may open ==see a good movie (nephew's "Brothers Mc Mullen" and his new one "She's the one", also I assisted 2 days woody allen new movie (Oct 18)"thet musical with Goldie Hawn, Alan Alda, Julia R. et.."everyone says i love you ", if sebacious glands work overtime on scalp shampoo junk out daily, medicated or not is o.k.----stop yourself from shuffling, force your arms to swing, dont get into the habit of giving in to PD........hang from a chinning bar, swim as much as poss. continue with tennis to sharpen your reaction time. never give up, never give up ...your ship. love,don bernardo be >
