I called the U.S. headquarters of SmithKline Beecham, producers of Ropinirole (215-751-4000, in Philadelphia) to inquire about when it would become available in the U.S. Their representative said all the documentation has been submitted to the FDA, and they are hoping it would be approved sometime in 1997, although he couldn't be more specific. He was very sympthetic and said he wished it could be available sooner, but it is out of their hands now. Does anyone know how long FDA approval normally takes? Linda Herman [log in to unmask]
