Mark... I HATE like the dickens to be the bearer of bad news, but I was a trim, perfect size ten for much of my adult life (by virtue of the fact that I'm so darn vain!) <Ohh vanity, thy name is woman> (grinning). Within three months of having a unilateral pallidotomy, I'd gained 25 pounds!! YIKES!!! And NO amount of dieting and/or exercise has been able to get rid of it! <sobbing copius tears pitiously> (OK... so I''m into melodrama today) (Pssst) <whispering> Don't tell anyone, but I'm looking into lipsuction! <giggle> Barb Mallut, [log in to unmask] ---------- From: PARKINSN: Parkinson's Disease - Information Exchange Network on behalf of Mark Steiner Sent: Thursday, September 19, 1996 8:57 AM To: Multiple recipients of list PARKINSN Subject: weight gain following pallidotomy I HAD A PALLIDOTOMYIN JANUARY.
