On August 25, 1996, I posted an article to the the Internet "Archives:
Parkinsons Disease Menu." Perhaps the article, contents quoted below,

"My father-in-law has Parkinsons Disease. One of the persisting
difficulties he encountered for several months, at least up until
November of 1995, was an inability to project his voice at a volume
level sufficient to be easily/comfortably heard over the telephone.
