I just signed on to the Parkinson's listserver and I want to introduce myself. My name is Carole Hilton and I run a PD information and outreach program at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Los Angeles. I am interested in learning ways to help people cope with PD. I am actually a clinical social worker by profession and facilitate several PD support groups. The hospital at which I am stationed also performs PD surgeries (pallidotomies, thalamotomies and fetal transplants) - so perhaps I can be a resource for information to others, as well.
