Subject: New subscriber + comment re old address?

Thank you for setting up the listserv and for welcoming me as a new
subscriber. I've already read some usefull information in just a few brief
minutes of reading my mail.

Just one technical feedback comment. When I first got into Parkinson's Web on
the Web and went to the Digest option, the address for PARKINSN was given as

"[log in to unmask]" and I guess that must be an old address it
kept getting kicked back to me. Then I stumbled on to the correct

"[log in to unmask]" or "[log in to unmask]" whichever.
Maybe the old address needs to be amended or updated so others can find it
easier.

To into myself, I'm 63, retired 3 years ago from the faculty of the School of
Social Work at Western Michigan University. My family doctor surmised that I
had PD about 1 1/2 year ago and then a neurologist confirmed it last December.
It's really pretty early stages and it hasn't slowed me down too much. My
wife and I did decide to move to a home on one floor while we can both handle
the physical tasks to get things now the way we wanted them, more or less as
insurance for the future to some extent.

BTW, I was born in London, Ontario and, while I was born a US citizen, spent
much of my life in London and my two brothers were in the Canadiana military
in WWII. It is special that I am now communicating with friends in Canada.
Thanks again.
John
