There will be a Parkinson's Disease symposium at the BWI Airport Marriott,
titled 'Back to the Future', on Saturday, October 5, 1996.  It is sponsored
by grants from APDA, Upjohn Pharmaceuticals and Athena Neuroscience.  Topic
sessions will include a patient panel, the gifts of aging, the surgical
treatment of PD, autonomic dysfunction in PD, current thoughts on the causes
and current treatment of PD.  Speakers include Dr. Stephen Reich, Dr. Ted
Dawson, and Dr. Fred Lenz of Johns Hopkins University, Dr. Edwin Gworge of
Case Western Univ, and Dr. George Paulson of Ohio State Univ Neurology Depts.

    The cost is $25 for patients/family members and $35 for healthcare
professionals, which includes lunch and snacks.  For more information,
