A few years back I noticed a couple of my Sinemet tablets had turned gray in color. (they had been in my coat pocket -. unwrapped, mind you!) Called the pharmaceutical house (whichever it was back then) was told that the levodopa deteriorates and loses its potency when exposed to heat, light, and air. (I recall the PDR cautioned "Do not expose...... keep in dark air-tight container" or something to that effect. [log in to unmask] (Mary Manfredi)
