I am posting this for Barbara Schirloff([log in to unmask]) --her provider

Please save this list so that when you contact your Senators and
Representatives you can let them know that there are approximately 3,500
VOTERS in their district alone who have PD.
The following is a state by state listing of the estimated number of
people with PD based on the total US population of 260 million and the
APDA supplied number of 1.5 million people in the US with Parkinson's
disease. I used an average number of 600,000 people - as indicated in "The
U.S. Congress Handbook 1996, 104th Congress" - for each of the 435
Congressional districts.
The math came out to an estimated 3,500 people with Parkinson's in each
district. Multiplying 3,500 by the number of districts in each state,
I arrived at the following number of PWP per state:

                ------ DISTS - ----- PER STATE
