Camilla's list is excellent.
I would like to add my 'brown paper bag' technique.
On the morning of the appointment put one of each container of
prescription medicine
your mom takes  into a brown paper bag and take the bag to the appointment
Sounds a bit dumb but it may save her life.
This was the idea of a very competent neurologist at our movement
disorder clinic
