You suggested we tell Smith that the Udall bill doesn't trigger abortions - it doesn't even mention fetal tissue research/surgery. We have told Smith. There have been meetings at his office by Udall advoccates, and I spoke to his aide (who works on Smitih's bill for him) for about an hour. They had closed minds. My thoughts are: they know it's not an abortion triggering bill.. it's just an opportunity for them to stir up self-righteous atteentnion to themselves.
