I am continuing what I worked toward with him: getting to the truth - the reality - of the known about PD. And, spreading knowledge which is as correct as possible among those who have the affliction, care for those with it, or provide assistance as physician, researcher, drug supplier, adviser, et cetera - is the kernel of all this. All of us "do research" in the sense of gathering information. We can support those who do the "best science" by funds, encouragement, and directly participating as volunteers. Learning to report our symptoms and changes that medication produces is beneficial to judging efficacy of drugs or treatments. The variability of response is a challenge that "science" must unravel to provide the understanding of the degenerative process(es). "Science" is seeing accurately and describing precisely the etiologic process. Each of us can contribute to removing the distortions from what is currently known. The collective state of art eventually produces break-throughs by one or two of those who see best. Discuss what works and why - part of what messages are comprised - so that we reinforce each others insight (personal knowledge cognition).
