Gary... uhhhh.... ya could always handcuff yourself to the headboard. <grin> Seriously, I'm kinda having a rueful chuckle at this issue because my own experiences with dreaming leave us with a "typical Parkie response." I've taken Sinemet for over 7 years and have virtually STOPPED dreaming - at least on a conscious level where I have some recollection of having dreampt. And years ago I used to have interesting, vivid, colorful dreams, that played out like a tiny video in my mind as I was sleeping. I guess this leads us back to the one thing we can ABSOLUTELY say about "life with PD" - no matter what similarites some of us have in experiencing the day-to-day living with the disease, it is STILL treats each of us in a different manner, so much so that to me it feels like there are actually diseases-within-the-disease that some of us get and others of us don't. I realize the dreams are a side effect do sinemet and we all have to live with them but during my nightly adventures I seem to invariably end up on the floor. Falling and sometimes leaping out of bed has never hurt the floor but it has, on occasion, damaged me. I was wondering if anyone else has had a problem staying put at night and if not, what did you do to solve the problem. The only thing I can think up is putting up rails or getting a much lower bed.
