Hello Bill, Thnanks for your input. I think David Langridge had it about
right when he wrote that we tend to get the extremes of experience represented
in the postings to the list. So: I get three people saying that they had bad
experience with Bromocriptine, and Permax was OK; I add my experience which
matches their's, and I sit back feeling at peace. Then up pop two more people
who say 'Permax - terrible, Bromocryptine - no problem, and we are up and
running with an apparent anomaly. I have no doubt that in between there are
people who have managed to get by without any drama. Indeed, apart from my
bad experience with Bromocriptine, I would say that I have managed to
function faily effectively up to now. All we can do is recount our experience
and hope that it will help some people along the way. In the course of 17 yrs
something must rub off that can help newcomers, I hope. Here is a good
statistic (I love these useless bits of information): I recently worked out
that over the 17 years, I have taken in excess of 100,000 tablets. I'm
probably suffering from an overdose of that inert substance that makes up 90%
of most tablets !!

Of course, they do say that a person who takes free advice usually gets his
money's worth, but I hope to do a little better than that.

Regards, Brian Collins
