Hi I recently applied for SS disability. initially I was told it would take 3-4 monthsto get a decision. I kept calling. I was then told that it may only take 1-2 months. I then was informed that they wanted me to undergo a complete PD exam at a doctor of there choice. I did; on the 23rd of this month. this should speed things up. I'll post updates as I get them. I was approved at the state level almost at once, probably in one month. You might check out you state benefits also; ALLAN
