Dear Will:
Most computer operating systems and mouse software provide the means to tame
the pesky critter if it is too hyperactive. With my computer, I head for the
control panel and open the mouse setup program. That provides me with the
means to change the acceleration and speed of the pointer. I can have a
mouse on amphetamines that takes off at warp speed, or one that just ambles
along and stays where it belongs instead of running off somewhere out of
sight at the slightest move. Show it who is boss, Will. I thought I would
have to kill mine until I remembered the controls.
