Dear Shelia,  I find that Melatonin helps me with sleep.  Since it is a
natural hormone, it is not addictive and I don't have side effects.  I find
that I sleep a deep and restful 5-6 hours. That's a big improvement for me.
 I take 2 grams a night.  Each person has to find what is right for them.
Hope this is of some help for your mother.
