Cyclosporin is a very expensive made by Sandoz in Basel, Switzerland. It is a
mixture of related amino acids originally approved roughly ten years ago as
an antibiotic because of the way it was produced (by fermentation) although
its use is a an anti rejection drug. The manufacturer had proposed to isolate
certain components out of it and test them for various other therapies. These
would likely need to be approved as drugs different from the one originally
approved.
But I have not kept up with it. It does sound good though.
Good luck
