I don't think you could use loss of sense of smell as a diagnostic tool unless the loss of the sense of smell was very recent. IMOHO. Also to whomever was asking about dry, itchy skin--I had a very bad seige of that while I was taking Eldepryl. About 6 weeks off Eldepryl it all stopped!!!
