To the List: Get out and vote Tuesday. However, don't blame the Republicans for not voting for the Udall bill in the last session. Blame the jokers that were in charge of getting the bill to the floor and scheduled for a vote. There have been a couple of messages that effectively blamed the Republicans for not getting the Udall bill passed. That is simply not true! However, you can place the blame on several Republicans and Democrats who chose not to schedule a vote on the bill and they should be ashamed of themselves and voted out of office. If you choose to turn out all the Republicans, you will dismiss 33.5% of the co-sponsors of the Udall bill in the House and 45.2% of the co-sponsors of the bill in the Senate. I would suggest you vote against those who do not represent your interests.......Republicans, Democrats or Independents alike. Below is a table showing the voting in each congressional house and the party distribution of Co-Sponsors. The names of the Co-Sponsors have been made available several times on this list. Vote smart on Tuesday...........Jack House of Representatives TOTAL CO-SPONSORS 249 (less 7 Withdrawals) YET UNSIGNED 186 TOTAL REPUBLICANS 81 33.5% TOTAL DEMOCRATS 161 66.5% Senate SENATE CO-SPONSORS 62 YET TO CO-SPONSOR 38 TOTAL REPUBLICANS 28 45.2% TOTAL DEMOCRATS 34 54.8%
