They probably told you, any neurotransplant takes a while to show results, because the cells must not only survive, but multiply and form new pathways. This exciting new technique offers hope to many more PD patients than before, and also makes possible extensive experimentation (for example to locate the optimum site for the graft). Cheers, Joe J.
