Mary Ann: You might want to read the article by Carpenter,A., et.al. in
NEUROLOGY 1996;46:1548-1551 which according to my mycrographic notes says
that the beta-blocker propranalol (Inderol) markedly reduces levodopa
induced diskenesia but not dystonia in PD.  Perhaps this article will
answer some of your questions.
