Re your query about flu jabs below, I was diagnosed with PD 3 years ago and
had a flu jab this year for the first time.  Last year the doctor did not
seem to think I was especially in need of one.  This year he suggested it
when I saw him with a cold virus which looked like settling on my chest.

My medication is Sinemet CR 200/50 thrice daily and I had no adverse affects
whatsoever from the jab.  Very few people have side-affects I am led to
believe, and of those, the main symptoms are similar to a head cold which
last for 48hours or so.  My wife also had one without any problems.

To have one seems to make sense.  If you do have one, it makes sense to have
your partner have it as well.  No sense in one of you being protected and
one vulnerable.  Hope this helps.
