Get a new one every year. The pneumonia sho is DEFINITELY RECOMMENDED to PD patients. The pneumonia shot will last for several years. It was supposed to last a lifetime, but 5 years is now considered to be the proper interval. With food inhaling problems in PD, not getting a pneumonia shot is foolhardy.
