Has anyone heard of or tried GDNF (glial-cell-line derived neurotrophic factor)? I read about it recently and am wondering if it's available yet. It's a naturally occuring protein which protects & restores nerve cells damaged by PD. The article said scientists have tested it on monkeys & found it measurably improved posture & balance, as well as less rigidity. There's a company called Amgen of Thousand Oaks, Ca which is supposed to be manufacturing this. Has anyone else heard of this or know anything about it? Please reply. Thanks!
