I have been on list serve since August. I have been receiving and enjoying
the exchange of ideas. I have tried to send e-mail on several occasions,
but it always comes back as failed mail. Hope that tonight I will be more
successful.

I am 54 years old and have had PD for 18 years. I was a public school
teacher for 23 years the last nine of those serving as a program coordinator
for a junior and senior high school. The stress of the position became more
than I could take and had to take and early retirement. I am a patient of a
PD specialist in Milwaukee and am on several medications. But am at the
point where the on and off periods are unpredictable. I try to maintain a
low protein diet and am interested as to where I could purchase the Hearty
Balance drink. It almost sounds like a dog food name. I have checked local
drug stores but can not find it.

Are there any others out there who have struggled with this extra baggage
and have the medications had any effect on your kidneys, liver, etc.

I hope that when I see my doctor in April that he will put me on one of the
new drugs.

That's all for now.
