Hello Anne
I have had a left side Thalamotomy and right side Pallidotomy. I have
problems making myself understood; this may or may not be associated with
the operations???!It seems to be more to do with the inability to relax, and
how much sleep I get!! I take 1x10 milligram Normison (Temazepam) at 11PM
every night to ensure I get 5/6 hours sleep straight. I ignore warnings of
"you will bedcome addicted to those sleeping pills". SO WHAT! I am on
about 2000mg of sinemet / day (100/10)which sometimes brings on the
Jekll/Hyde Syndrome; or more accurately Gaylord of the
Mississippi(spelling)as I totter into the nearest casino and hurry to give
them all the money I can find; but that is another story.
