was through our Internist in Ashland, Ore. I walked in, dismissed the nurse
and said, "What are you going to do for Gordon" (WE had already been at
Emory). He called OHSU as I sat there, made arrangements for me to make
appointments and that was it. You evidently have to have the referral.
Here in Mt. Shasta the same procedure worked for a new friend. His
local doctor made the contact. So try it...
