Dear Samantha-- for "everything you wanted to know about PD but were embarrassed to ask" you can consult many helpful sources. Have you plugged in ti any of the national PD groups? Here are 800 #s for 2 of them which have many helpful pubs, newsletters, etc.: American Parkinson Disease Assn 1-800-APDA National Parkinson Foundation 1-800-327-4545 Call and ask to be on their mailing lists, and to get packets of their publications. There are many good books too--your library may not have them, but a bookstore can order them, so let me know if you'd like some titles....and are you connected with a support group? Someone earlier asked if you had touched base with Susan Reese, APDA's contact for Young Onset PWPs? Her number: 1-800-223-9776 or <[log in to unmask]> She can be very helpful. Lastly DON'T BE EMBARRASED TO ASK QUESTIONS__ someone said there are no dumb questions, only dumb answers! :-) If you haven't joined our CARE list, for CGs of PWPs, and would like to, let me know....
