Hi: I used acupuncture to treat carpal tunnel syndrome of the left hand after surgery on the right hand, and also for arthritis of the knees and a few other places. It is not cheap and treatment may take several weeks, but it does relieve pain and my symptoms of CTS and arthritis are mostly gone. My wife tried it for PD 'discomforts' but did not care for it.
