Joel asked his doctor about taking more Sinemet to control the shaking, and
his doctor said he could take the whole bottle, but it wouldn't do more than
the initial dosage.

I read out loud the notes that everybody writes, while Joel sits at the
breakfast table, since he thinks anybody who sits in front of a monitor is
deranged. Sometimes he puts his fingers in his ears and sings. However,
yesterday we tried an experiement that some of you had recommended. He only
took his blood pressure pills and Zoloft. His hand shook like a vibrator. I
guess this means he has the real thing, and in itself, it's a relief to
