Sorry I took so long in replying. The pallidal-stimulation surgery was done
at KU in Overland Park , Ks. It was done in two operations one on the left
side of my brain and one on the right. The left side was done in Dec. of 95
and right in Jan of 96. I do not know the code they used but I was covered
by Health Net. I might mention that insuance in general covered the first 5
operations but that medicare decided not to cover the procdure so the other
companies followed suit.
