No, no, Dukie, dear...<smile> you don't understand (Naw, Barbie... he prolly does... them techie-types ALL do!). I couldn't see OTHER'S type... just my own, with one brief exception, when 2 lines of Henry J.'s type and one line of ^yak's (^yak?) type came right across my screen. From those 3 lines of type, I got the message that THEY couldn't see MY type anymore than I saw theirs.. BOOO! (pouting) And I did the "close down mIRC and relogon number several times with the same results. Talk about FRUSTRATING? Would that still be caused by a "split?" Either way, I'll keep on trying to access that elusive #Parkinsons Chat till I get it right... You may have been caught in a net split which is no fault of your machine. Thats usually the problem when you can see others but your typing doesn't show up. The easiest way to sole problem is to shut down the mirc program or pearch which ever you are using and exit irc chayt. Then reconnect and you are usually back in with the group. If you were in to the point of seeing others you probable do not have to push or find the thingahmagig. DUKE ON IRC CHAYT
