He is director of the McGill Centre for Aging and does a lot of research on PD. In my opinion, too much! I feel (and emphasis the 'I') he sacrafices his patients for his research. My husband, Sohrab (her son), has asked her to get a second neuro that she can call and ACTUALLY SPEAK TO on a regular bases, while keeping her present neuro as a reference for the once/twice a year visits. She is hesitant. He is what she's used to and she knows his reputation... When I first met Suraiya (three years ago), she was sort of "embarrased" by her PD. She didn't talk about it, felt uncomfortable in public places... However, since subscribing to this list (a year and a half ago) she has begun to open up. Feel that she is not all alone. She might listen to your post more than she will listen to us. Take care, Deanna
