   Sorry  for the confusion I caused you and Margaret. Let me see if I can
clear it up.I"m pro-unilateral or staged Pallidotomies so my "not OK" was
directed at the contemporaneous or bilateral Pallidotomy. My very personal
thoughts are that bilaterals are more likely to produce complications and I
want to stress that my saying that is a very personal opinion. What ever
decision you two make will be the right decision for you.

   You are correct,I was not operated on by DR.Iacono.

   Do you really mean that you felt better off before you had the second

   I"m not sure I understand you question. But let me say it this way
...I've no doubt at all that the improvements I have experienced via the
staged Pallidotomies far exceed the downside or as you put it the loss of
my "intelligibility" [I assume that you are referring to my speech!]

   I do hope that I've managed to bring some clarity to my previous
posting.If not I'll happy to try again. Be well.
