Re whoever's doctor didn't listen to your wife? Does she have a good loud voice? Is he by any chance hard of hearing? When my voice got softer with PD (I know your wife is not the patient) I was ignored because people couldn't hear me. I started to make a real effort to speak louder and lo and behold, I was no longer ignored. Good luck...Liz S.
