METLIFE ONLINE
Snoopy and the Gang make this site more fun than insurance is usually
noted to be. They'll guide you thru information on life insurance and
life advice: there's even a height and weight table (for the very
brave and confident). A search page allows you to find a
representative near you. And, for Canadians, there is a link to the
MetLife Canadian page. A small collection of Charlie Brown graphics
(copyrighted, of course) are contained in the Gallery. Fast loading,
informative and well laid out. http://www.metlife.com/

NATIONAL COUNCIL ON THE AGING, INC. (NCOA)
NCOA is an agency actively seeking improvement in public and private
policies affecting older persons...particularly seeking to counter
"ageism" that pits generations against each other. The site offers
information on Consumer Choice News, Healthy Living, Public Policy and
Advocacy, and a link to AgeWorks, a guide to Mature Worker Resources.
New to their collection is a video on "Aging Parents".

sizes are kept smaller for faster downloads; navigation is kept
simple, based on buttons and hyper text links. Current and past issues

Electronics appear regularly along with profiles of outstanding
Seniors. Read it in and at your leisure.

SENIORS COMPUTER INFORMATION PROJECT (SCIP)
This site is chock full of information and is designed for fast access
with a minimum of graphics. Categories include Advocacy, Health,
Housing, Income-Finance, Legal-Consumer, Lifestyle, Organizations,
Senior Centres/clubs, Special Needs, and Other Links. Be sure to take
a look at the results of the very interesting on-going survey of

SILVER THREADS
This is light, warm reading and is a must stop! Senior Group
Newsletter is a bimonthly publication of an informal group of seniors,
community-net senior section moderators and others interested in how
the net serves seniors and vice-versa. Browse over to Senior's Smile,
where you'll find an article titled "Norwegian Grandmother's Cake".
Being the granddaughter of a proud and very Scandinavian grandmother,
this really hit home...I laughed all the way thru it. The Cup of
Memory includes articles which will make you wax nostalgic...my cup
runneth over while reading them and so will yours.
