When graphics or binary files are attached to an e-mail message they are usually MIME encoded which actually converts them to text. These are then decoded on the receiving end. It is also possible to utilize a great deal of the Internet with just e-mail access. This is covered in two documents, EMAIL4U and GETIT4U.
