Dear Everyone,

We have changed servers, so I suppose it is appropriate to re-introduce
ourselves.

My husband, Jamie (57/16), is a physical chemist who continues to work for
DuPont. He is interested in gardening, computers, reading, and ancient
cultures. I am a nurse who shares most of my husband's interests. My
major job at home is maintaining our registered Romney sheep flock, in
addition to canning and freezing the produce harvested from our
substantial garden.

We have two children. Wendy, 24, works with the developmentally disabled
and emotionally impaired. She participates in showing our sheep at the
Michigan State Fair. JJ is our computer specialist who will be getting
married on March 8. He is involved in the Society for Creative Anachronism
(a medieval re-inactment group); he and his fiance, Linda, are planning a
medieval wedding complete with Renaissance music and very strange food. In
short, there is never a dull moment in our lives.

Jamie and I have enjoyed getting to know the wonderful folks on this list,
and look forward to learning more about how each of you had learned to cope
with PD in your lives. The wisdom you have to offer is far more important
than any clinical information obtained from doctor's offices or textbooks.
Thank you for opening your hearts to us.
