I take four 1 mg tablets of Permax and have for about a year. I confess except at the beginning when I had petite hallucinations (transitory perceptions of objects in the peripheral vision and misperceiving objects, usually turning inanimate objects (ashtray, newspaper) into animate ones (cats,etc.), but just for a fraction of a second) I have had no problems. My PD symptoms are mainly slowness and rigidity and not tremor. I also take Prozac (20mg/day) Sinemet CR 25/100 4 times each day, and 1/2 Sinemet NON-CR 4 times/day. I am 60 years old and was diagnosed about 7 years ago. In retrospect, my earliest symptom was progressive loss of sense of smell, noticed about 30 years ago. I have never at any point noticed anything lateralized in my symptoms. (I've sort of got carried away with my autobiography, but that's prozac for you.) Allan Netick
