To the many writing tutors on CASLL, a practical question for which I would welcome concrete detailed answers: Is there such a thing as a reliable electronic booking system that writing centres can use to let students book their own appointments? One of the writing centres here has been asked to look into the possibility of using such a system and freeing up secretaries' time. It would have to let students know what times were available, and it would have to have some security features too, including a way of confirming that the student was registered in the right program for the specific writing centre.
