It sounds to me as if your mother is experiencing the dyskinesia
associated with long term exposure to levadopa. I can speak from
personal experience in confiming that this can be extremly painfull.

Ask your doctor to look at the problem again from the viewpoint
of to much medication.  Some PWP find that vitamin C helps
reduce the dyskinesia and by extension the pain and discomfort.
