Marling McReynolds and others recently wondered what painkiller they could use while on Eldepryl. It was suggested that anti-inflammatory medicines might be helpful in cases of bone and joint pain. My neuro prescribed such a drug when I complained of pain in the lower back and left hip. He prescribed Oxaprozin, made by Searle under the name DAYPRO. He gave me a two-weeks supply, with the proviso that if that did not clear it up, further diagnosis would be necessary. It worked pretty good, but the main thing here is that I am also on Eldepryl and the combination gave no bad effects. Will A. Kuipers 76/dx'91 [log in to unmask]
