I have been asked to post this question by my girlfriend's father, who is an
MD, and whose wife suffers from Parkinsons Disease. She is a 70-year-old
female with a 15 year history of Parkinsons Disease who is treated with
carbidopa-levodopa (sinemet) in low dosage, plus L.depryl. An increasingly
symptomatic complication is postural hypotension. What features would
distinguish between Shy-Drager Syndrome and carbidopa-levodopa induced
postural hypotension?

If anyone can offer any advice about this question, we would be most
grateful. Thank you.
