Jeremy B.... MSN "requests" it's forum manager to TRY to use the Microsoft HTML-shell program, "FrontPage." This program might as well be written in Greek to me. and apparently other forum managers feel the same way and use such HTML-shell programs as "HotDog," and others. Either way, Jeremy, I'm not at this time doing any HTML as I was able to (THANK GOD!) get the promise of ongoing tech support from another MSN staff member. ASIDE: He lives in Canberra, Australia and we'll be doing this collaboration via email. No biggee in this age of electronic communication. GAWD, I love this medium... Makes me feel like I'm living in a world that would have only a few years ago been considered to be science fiction. Buck Rogers and Flash Gordon LIVES!! What text-preparation system do you use for the HTML stuff, Barb? Because I'm a poor typist, I set up a load of "auto-corrects" in Word for Windows, and it simply replaces what I type with the substitute. For example, I type "jbsig" and it replaces it with: " "Yours sincerely " "[my signature scanned in and tideied, as a .BMP picture file] " "Jeremy B R Browne" So you could presumably do the same sort of "boiler-plating" with HTML commands (don't they call them "envelopes"???
