A relative with Behcet's syndrome (an auto-immune disease) has gall stones
causing her significant nausea. She is on methotrexate. After having
been told previously that surgery couldn't be done, she has now been told
she needs to schedule surgery so that the methotrexate can be discontinued
about two weeks before [to allow her body to fight any potential
infection].

She is with an HMO, and I am wondering if there is something out there for
gall bladder problems equivalent to the movement disorders specialists for
parkinson.

Please reply to me directly rather than on list.

Thank you,
