Hi Bryce:

I don't know where you live, but I buy crystallized ginger in California at
Trader Joe's.  It is a product of Australia.  I don't
know about the efficacy of ginger snaps.  The crystallized ginger comes in
cellophane bags.  Good luck!   Liz S
